Surface Connect Technology - data rates for Surface Dock 2

Hi all,

does any one know what kind of connections/technology is used within proprietary surface connect port? Is this a kind of Thunderbolt 3 connection or is it just a USB-C (3.2 Gen2 or Gen2x2) with extra power connects? Is there an Ethernet pass-through included or what is the expected performance of the ports at the Surface Dock 2:
+ 2x 4k @ 60 Hz
+ Ethernet - still 1 Gbit

+ USB-C 10Gbps still possible in parallel to the Ethernet 1Gbps speed?

I am looking for some details of the technical architecture for the Surface Connect Port and therefore the real technical capabilities of the Surface Dock 2.
