I've set her in the weather settings to use Celsius by default instead of Fahrenheit but whenever I ask her about the weather she uses Fahrenheit to answer me and I have to tell her again "in Celsius" in order to convert it to it.

Its been like this for months on end and now with the new versions it's even worse there's now no settings or anything. Talk about depreciating a good product. Cortana is practically dead now.

Hi @Axtten

finally someone commented on Cortana forum :)

Cortana needs so much improvements to be alive again!

I'd say Microsoft rather needs to commit to good products and actually work to improve them rather than leaving them to rot on the vine. Cortana had so much promise and with the derailing of Windows Phone, Cortana has basically failed too. No investment, no marketing, no desire to compete. Microsoft were early to the game but ceded it to Google and Amazon. It's heartbreaking and frustrating, I have invested so much money in Microsoft and its services and have almost nothing to show for it now. I really want them to keep pushing Cortana but it needs a presence in the consumer space, the business and consumer space is merging and I am afraid they will lose the business space too. Their US centric and US only release paradigm is a failure and is also part of the issue.

I've sent so many feedbacks about how to improve the new Cortana beta, what commands needs to be added and so on. if only they just review them and take them into consideration..

I hate to say it but I'm not sure they care, they seem to be retrenching Cortana just like they did with Zune, Windows Phone, Xbox's entertainment features, Band, Kinect etc. I hope I am wrong and this new push to enterprise sees them come back to the consumer markets with an all powerful and renergised future Cortana but recent history doesn't seems to bode well for this eventuality. I really want the old Microsoft back - aggressive and dominant and ruthlessly competitive. This is new Microsoft just doesn't back their brilliant ideas.  The original windows vision of one OS and one assistant to rule them all.
