Hello, trying to do a little bit of advance research before pulling the trigger on the upgrade. We currently have a instance of Express which is hitting the 10GB limit and need to move to Standard. Is there a resource which shows the best method of moving up to Standard from Express? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello @Eric12486 ,

An upgrade 2007 Express => 2019 Standard is fully supported, see Supported version & edition upgrades (SQL Server 2016) (I didn't found a newer doc)

It's a so call Edition Upgrade, see Upgrade to a Different Edition of SQL Server (Setup)
