On Wednesday, March 27th, 2019 over 2000 students,
teachers, exhibitors and presenters attended the 7th
annual Washington TEALS Computer Science Fair
hosted at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue
Washington.
I met up with Philip Conrod from Kidware Software to lead our Small Basic booth.

This was our sixth year leading a Small Basic booth at the TEALS CS Fair!
The diverse group of students represented 70 high
schools from all over Washington and one high
school made the trip from Kentucky!
Every student in attendance is studying computer
science. The CS Fair provided students with the
opportunity to learn about the varied and exciting
college and career paths in CS.

Here is the Small Basic booth. We had two large screens, showing Tic Tac Toe and Frogger:
The exhibit hall hosted 40 booths ranging from
academic institutions to various companies. We were sandwiched
between Halo and Minecraft, with Nintendo right behind us!
We want to thank TEALS for hosting another great CS fair! And special thanks to Philip Conrod from Kidware for helping us run the Small Basic booth for the 4th year (he helped our first, second, third, and now sixth)!
