Some users still see the old contact number from sfb contact card

Hi Guys,

 

I recently updated User's A phone number and I noticed that some of the user's from my organization still see the old contact number when checking User A contact card in Skype for business. 

 

I've already checked the user's contact information from the admin portal, azure ad, exchange and the number is updated. We're just syncing our users from Active Directory but no on-premise exchange/skype.

 

I just want to check if someone here knows where is this contact number from sfb contact card is based from specifically. Thanks for your help!

@Raizel Can you check with the User Account and Users Skype for Business Application. It seems that the numbers is getting pulled in either from the users contact list wherein he might have added the contact information. Check for the Phone Details in the following location.

 

1. Login to Skype for Business of the User Account

2. Click on the Gear Icon/Settings Icon on the Skype for Business.

3. Click on Phone. Please check of the user is publishing phone numbers from here.

4. Remove the Phone Numbers and that should sort the issues in 24-48 hours.
