Skype for Business crashes on startup

Skype for Business will not start anymore after last Office update

 

My Skype for Business does not start at all.

When I start Windows, the Skype splash screen appears. After that a blank screen appears with only one sentence: "Find contact or choose number." Then, 3 seconds later the screen disappears and Skype is gone.

 

I cannot find the right steps to remove Skype and reinstall it from the right location. When I try using the Microsoft site, I am unable to install the 32bit nor the 64 bit, both return the error that it is not the correct version.

 

What do I do?
