Service to UAE being challenged as illegal.

 We are being told that it is illegal to host or particpate in Skype Meetings with UAE.  Something about local Telecom bing upset with Microsoft.

Is thereone Customer or Microsoft that can shed some light on this very strange position.

Telephone regulations are fairly complicated. You're unlikely to get a definitive answer on a forum to be honest, because people will be naturally worried about the legal exposure. Are you talking about SfB Online meetings or SfB Server? Have you tried talking to an in-country Microsoft Account Manager? thanks

Skype Online Meetings. Our problem is one where legal team are asking my team questions and I need my Microsoft Account team to assist.

Being one who shares both success and failures, I offered this to the community to possibly learn something and or save others any problems.
