Questions on Audio Conferencing

Microsoft

Hi Community,

One of our customer raised the below query:

Can we display more than one default toll number if we use powerhsell ?

Also, can we use the on premise DDI numbers instead the online one in the meeting URL ?

Many thanks in advance!!

Hi,

I guess it is in the meeting request in Outlook you only want more than one number shown and that is not possible, it will show one Toll number and one Toll-free (if that is activated for the user). For Skype for Business there were some third-party plug-ins to modify the invite but they haven't released them for Teams yet.

It is not possible to use a DDI via Direct Routing for Audio conferencing currently. I heard that it might be possible in the future but not currently and I don't think it is on the roadmap.
I noticed that it was for Skype for Business that you asked now. It is possible with a third-party plugin to edit the invite sent from outlook.

But it is the same for SfBO that you can't use on-prem numbers for audio conferencing in SfBO.

Since our customer is running Skype for Business Online you should prepare to switch to Teams soon.
