How do I stop S4B starting when Windows starts?

I am running Windows 10 Pro with all the latest updates, and have installed S4B 2016 version 16.0.4978.1000.

I have unchecked the option to start S4B when Windows starts, and it is not listed in the Windows Settings Startup (see the two attached screenshots), and yet whenever I start Windows, S4B starts up.

How do I prevent this? Thanks

@Yossu Bonkers Did you also check the "Autostart" folder?

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

@disler yes I did, and S4B wasn't there.

Having said that, I had to restart earlier, and S4B didn't start when the machine did, so it may be that it has finally decided to honour my request!

I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens. Thanks for the reply.

@disler Just come back from a week off, started the machine, and S4B popped up.

I check the S4B options, and the checkbox to start it with Windows is clear. I also rechecked the startup folder, and it doesn't appear in there.

So I'm baffled. Why does it insist on starting with Windows?
