Need to have call forwarding OUTSIDE of office hours support

Currently it is only possible to automatically schedule call forwarding during outlook work hours in SFB. However we run a small customer service business and need to forward calls outside of work hours so we can anser calls on mobiles when the office is not manned.

Hi Toby - This ability is not present natively in the client, Thanks for your feedback. I am not certain what your environment is, in case you have SFB on Premise and Exchange UM then you can achieve this using Call answering rules in Outlook. This however wont be available with SFB online and Cloud PBX voice mail at the moment

Hi Mohammed, we are testing SFB online. This really is preventing us from switching over entirely as it means we cannot provide a core service of our out of office hours support to our clients. Please update need if this issue is going to be worked on as it seems like a fairly small development.

Hi Toby, I unfortunately do not know if this feature is on the roadmap. You can try to submit a Feature request through our Premier Support.

 

We have a user setup that has Call Forwarding turned on to an external number.  When out of business houses we forward this user.  

 

Obviously having the ability to forward to an external number directly from the control panel makes more sense for the long run.
