Hi Guys,
Strugling with a question, hope anyone can help me.
Is there any support for upgrading your OS (Windows Server 2012R2) running Skype for Business Server 2015 Front-end with latest CU to Windows Server 2016 by inplace-upgrade feature?
Cheers,

Hi
I am pretty sure that this is not supported or recommended. I remember a similar question on old OS upgrades with Lync and the process was stand up new servers alongside add to pool and remove old ones
thanks

Hi,
the only supported "inPlace" ugrade option is afaik the Upgrade from Lync2013 to SfB 2015.

Just chiming in to add to the chorus saying "don't". Plenty have tried, few have been successful. It's easier just to rebuild then migrate. If you're running Enterprise edition, it's a bit easier. If Standard, just build a new server to the side and move everything over.
