Skype Room System v2 - How to disable Application Internet Access

Copper Contributor

Hello,

I would like to disable http/https request made by the Skype Room System App.

We didn't and we don't want to give internet access to the account used to autologon neither for the computer account.

The Skype Room System App tries to connect to internet and an authentication pop up is displayed. This windows is displayed over all the other windows and hide the Skype Room System windows.

How can we manage to do this ?

Can you bypass authentication for those accounts / devices as a short term solution?
Thanks for your answer. My Company Security Team won't like this.
If I can obtain the full list of URLs accessed by the Skype Room System apps, I will ask for a whitelisting of these as a short term solution.

Network Team saw the following internet access from the Surface on our firewall :
• Login.live.com
• Pipe.skype.com
• config.edge.skype.com
• nexusrules.officeapps.live.com

Do you know if it is an exhaustive list ?
I can't answer if it's exhaustive, but experience has shown that those URLs are a moving target. If you can't fully bypass authentication, you may want to consider using wildcards once you do have a good list. i.e. *.skype.com, *.live.com, etc.
