Skype Room System v2 and Whiteboarding/Powerpoint Annotation Functionality?

Brass Contributor

Im looking at the the new Skype Room Systems and would like to know if the SRS would work with a Sharp Aquous Board interactive display for whiteboarding or annotating over powerpoint presentations.

The Aquous Board works great with the current client version of Skype for Business 2016, im just not sure if we would lose functionality if we replaced our conference room PC with the SRS device.

Would the SRS work an interactive display as is? Are there any plans to support interactive displays for Skype meeting whiteboarding or in-meeting powerpoint annotations?

Ideally, I dont want to add another device our conference rooms just to be able to use the whiteboarding feature. However, I like the how the SRS could simplify things for my users.

Any info or ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

I am not sure it would recognise the board as an Input device. I know it's Windows 10 and HID driver, but when we have a USB mouse/keyboard plugged into our SRS, I've never see it over on the "main monitor". Only ever seen it in use on the Surface.

It's a fine line between SRSv2 and Surface Hub :)
