Skype log in issues temporarily unavailable

Hello all,

 

I am wondering if anyone has any additional ways of support for S4B login error temporarily unavailable. We are hosted in O365 and NEVER had an internal lync or S4B server. All the official MS docs point to a DNS issue for this message but the DNS is there, it passes the check in the remote connectivity analyzer dns test. However I still have issues with new users. We install the application on their machines and for some users it works right away and others its an effort in futility.

 

I have done the delete the C:\Users\%userid%/AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\16.0 folder, sometimes  you need to delete the info in either HKCU\Software\Microsoft\MSOIdentityCRL or

HKCY\software\microsoft\office\16.0\lync\ sometimes none of that works. All machines look to one of 3 dns servers running MS server 08 r2 with Microsoft's DNS.  I had a case opened with MS over the summer and there really was no good answer is the agent really this unreliable or am I missing something obvious?
