CCE can be deployed uisng only the specific sip domains with users you want to provide on-premises PSTN to.  If you get a Multi-Domain SSL cert from Digicert the Base price includes 4 FQDNs. Additional names are only $49.00USD each (https://www.digicert.com/order/order-1.php).

Solution

Assumed that:

- you have 4 active domain names
- users are associated with respective domains.

(if users are using all respective 4 domain names, YES, you need 4 domains to be associated with CCE)
- A single PSTN Site ( simply put a single location/office)

Example domains you have;

domain-1.com

domain-2.com

domain-3.com

domain-4.com

In this case, your public SSL certificate will look like as follow;

Common Name (Subject Name) = accessedgepoolname.domain-1.com.
SANs = acessedgepoolname.domain-1.com,sip.domain-1.com,sip.domain-2.com, sip.domain-3.com, sip.domain-4.com.

The type of certificate you need is "Multi-Domain (SAN) Certificate" , you may have a look at https://www.digicert.com/multi-domain-ssl/

If user are use 2 SIP domains  and another domains are  for exchange online only.

domain-3 and domain-4 didn't have Sfb online user.

They can buy  domain-1.com and domain-2.com for CCE only?

Thanks.

Yes, technically right.

However, from cost effectiveness point of view, since you would have to acquire multi-domains public SSL certificate, you may as well include all 4 domains altogether from the beginning.

If you went ahead with only two domains, in future if you need to enable CCE PSTN calling for 2 other remaining domains, you will have to acquire the certificate again on top of redeploying entire CCE. I am sure you don't want to do that.

I would recomend you get a public SSL certificate for all 4 domains from the begining and you don't have to worry again.
