Hi Experts,

One of our customer raised the below query:

Would users be able to use their email address as a Skype name in a mixed Skype for Business Online - and Exchange 2013 or 2016 on premise environment? If so, please advise me how to configure DNS etc.

Any pointers would be of great help!!

Why not moving all mailboxes to Exchange Online if you have the license for it ?

Yes this is possible, you can setup Azure AD Connect to sync your local AD with the Azure AD.
Make sure the UPN is the same as your primairy email, this one (UPN) will be used when synchronizing with Azure.
