Security issue on the Skype client

This article seems to be discussing a problem in the update process of Skype (consumer), not Skype for Business. The two products may have a similar name but have a completely different architecture, so this bug/exploit in the consumer version of Skype would not have any impact on the Skype for Business client.

Do you have any idea of how that came up from the article? Or do you refer to the bug report which says:

Once installed, Skype uses its own proprietary update mechanism
instead of Windows/Microsoft Update: Skype periodically runs
    "%ProgramFiles%\Skype\Updater\Updater.exe"

As the Skype for Business does not have such a process.

Shame on writer as did not make this clear, but also shame a bit Microsoft to build products with same name.
