We are in the process of rolling out Skype for Business (SfB) as the video conference platform for our company. The Linux user can use Outlook on the Web to schedule SfB meetings, but they have no native method of recording the meeting. We are also deploying SfB room systems, where again, there isn’t the facility to record the meeting.
As a result, when a Linux user wants to record a SfB meeting, they have been instructed to invite the IT helpdesk who are then responsible for starting the recording via a Windows client. I am aware that cloud recording for teams is on the roadmap, but can anyone suggest a more efficient short-term solution?
