Query on Call redirection

Hi Experts,

One of our customer raised the below query:

What they need is a single number that our customer can call which behaves as follows:

  • During a “business hours” schedule the number redirects to an existing number (02892 XXXXX);
  • Outside of “business hours” the number redirects to a different number.

Can we get this done using Office 365 Auto attendants and Call queues?

Any pointers would be of great help. Many thanks.

Yes Auto Attendants support 'business hours' and 'after hours' call routing settings.

Hi,

 

You can select both "Business hours call handling" and "After hours call handling". Both these have the same settings so you can select to redirect calls to 1) Person in your company 2) Call Queue 3) Auto Attendant.

 

In your case I would suggest to forward calls to a person in your company redirect to "Person in your company", if you need to forward to an external number you can activate call forwarding in Skype for that person.
