PSTN Conferning -PSTN Consumption billing - Billing queries.

Hi Experts,

One of our customer raised the below queries:

Scenario 1 :

>> Organizer has PSTN conferencing license to host meeting. User doesn't have PSTN Consumption Billing license.

Now the scenario is Organizer hosted the meeting and shared the Dialin number to the user. User dials that number to join the meeting.

Q : How the billing is calculated in the above scenario? Who gets charged? Is that an organizer or attendee or both?

Scenario 2 :

>> Organizer has PSTN conferencing license to host meeting. User do have PSTN Consumption Billing license.

Now the scenario is Organizer hosted the meeting and shared the Dialin number to the user. User dials that number to join the meeting.

>> Organizer located in UK - Participants are in different countries and users are provided the Toll number to join the conference?

Now the scenario is Organizer hosted the meeting and shared the Toll number to the users. User dials that number to join the meeting.

Scenario 4:

>> Organizer located in UK - Participants are in different countries and users are provided the Toll-free number to join the conference?

Now the scenario is Organizer hosted the meeting and shared the Toll-free number to the users. User dials that number to join the meeting.

Q : How the billing is calculated in the above scenario? Who gets charged? Is that an organizer or attendee or both?

Scenario 5:

>> Organizer using dial out feature and pulling in participants to the conference who are from different part of the world?

Ok, I'm not official Msft, but here's what I understand:

Scenario 1:

If the attendees are only dialing in, and using the numbers provided by Microsoft, there's no additional charge over the PSTN Conferencing license the organizer already pays for monthly. It's a flat rate, use as much as you want scenario for dial-in. The attendee wouldn't be billed by Microsoft but may pay local toll charges the same as they would making any call, if they have to pay anything.

Scenario 2:

Same as above, no additional charges.

Scenario 3:

Same as above, as long as the attendees are dialing in using the Microsoft provided numbers in their countries or any Microsoft provided number.

Scenario 4:

Scenario 5:

Just the organizer, the rate table as seen above in scenario 4.
