Hello,
Is there any way to preserve the contacts of our users when migrating from onprem to online?
As far as I can see, they will be lost?
We already use Exchange Online.

They should be preserved by default, at least if the contacts are stored in the Lync\Skype user database like the default. Are you simply using Move-CSUser? Do you have (Unified Contact Store) deployed?

Hello Anthony,
This requires a hybrid setup, correct? We currently don't have a hybrid setup for SfB.
Is it worth the overhead of first moving to hybrid before going to online-only?

SolutionIs exchange setup as hybrid? If you already have Azure AD connect in place, then seting up Skype for Business Hybrid wont be a much hasle.
