One of our partner removed license from some users and removed public IM on Skype for Business Online and would like to know more about retention period.
Will we get retention on sip adresses for 90 days?
I would expect the grace period of SFBO to follow the rest of the Office 365 stack and be available for recovery for 30 days. I haven't tested it myself for that period of time. I have tested removing the SFBO service from a user and re-enabled it 3 days later with no data loss, so even if your partner removes a license by accident, there should be plenty of time to re-assign this license.
