Editing Skype Meeting Broadcast policies

Steel Contributor

It doesn't look like there is a way to change settings in the built-in Skype Meeting Broadcast policies.  It would be great if this capability would be added so we could change the default policy instead of having to apply policies to each user.

We are looking into SMB, and I have to manually provision existing and new accounts to prevent anyone in the organization from creating a broadcast meeting.  This could easily be accomplished by simply changing the global / default policy to disable SMB.

As a workaround you could create a dynamic o365 group that contains all enabled users, then have the BroadcastMeetingPolicyDisabled assigned by this group.

Thanks, this is very helpful.  Will this assign the correct policy to new users as they are added to the group, or does it have to be run on a regular basis?

Looks like you have to run it on a regular basis. You could setup a automated task on a server or setup a runbook in azureautomation.
