Audio Conferencing co-existence in Hybrid

Brass Contributor

Hi Community,

One of our customer raised the below query.

Currently they have Lync 2013 and SfB online hybrid.

Questions:

Can they have Office 365 Audio conferencing co-existence in Hybrid?

How on-prem users can join the meeting scheduled by migrated users?

Similarly how online users can join the meeting scheduled by on-prem users?

Any pointers would be of great help.

Many thanks!!

On Premise Edge servers would Aid for all Hybrid connections.

Audio conferences can be joined across on prem and online users. When setting up Hybrid it will create a shared SIP address space and routing will happen both ways.

Front end would know where the user is homed with a Hostedprovider Attribute. If the user is hosted online it gets routed out via edge to online (sipfed.online.lync.com)
