Workflow not working correctly after One way trust

Hello SharePoint Fam,

 

I am having some SharePoint workflow issues after I completed One way trust with a new domain.  The workflows are completing 100% with no issues but emails are no longer being sent correctly.  Before the new domain addon everything was 100% perfect.  "Modified by" person would always be copied on different lists workflows.  Now users coming from the new domain are not being copied in emails.  I'm guessing maybe the email address field is missing somehow but I'm not sure.  If old/original domain users use the system everything works perfect but most of our users are now migrated to the new domain so emails are not being sent correctly via the workflow.

 

Do I need to somehow connect to the new domain environment and map email address somewhere?
