Since some of our users upgraded to Windows 10 + Office 2016, they complain that Quick Parts that reference Doc Library Columns of type "Lookup" are not working anymore:
- In the below example I created a List with colors (Red, Green, Blue)
- Then I created a sample library referencing that List as a Lookup column
- If I create a Word Document then insert a the "Color" Document Property using the "Insert Quick Parts" feature, I notice 2 problems:
1. The Quick Part dropdown menu does not let me choose between Red / Green / Blue...
2. If I set the Column value directly withing the Document Library, then I don't see the quick part being populated with the Color.Name but with the Color.ID value.
I do not notice such behavior with Windows 7 / Office 2013:
1. The Quick Part dropdown works and let me choose a color from within the document
2. The Quick Part is populated with the Color.Name and not the ID
Do you notice the same behavior?
Is this a known issue?
Is it fixed with an update of Windows 10 / Office 2016?
