A client has Sharepoint Sites that leverage functionality only present in "classic search" for SharePoint. Need to know if Microsoft plans to EOL "classic search" in Sharepoint Online. I'm not referring to "classic sites" in SharePoint only the classic search vs. the modern search Microsoft seems to be moving to.
For now there is not a clear message from Microsoft about what is going to happen with classic search, but it's clear Microsoft Search is going to be the service powering up search for any workload in Microsoft 365
