What happened to the ability to show sections as tabs?

Feature ID #67147, which was launched some time back (2021?), was described this way. Emphasis is mine:

SharePoint: Collapsible sections on modern pages

You’ll have the ability to show page sections in an accordion view (collapsed or expanded) or as tabs. The accordion view will be collapsed by default, but can be set to show expanded.

The ability to show page sections in an accordion view was released as described, and I use it frequently. But what happened to the ability to show sections as tabs? This would be useful to me. But it's never been introduced.

@David_Douglas Unfortunately no ETA on tabs feature for SharePoint page sections from Microsoft yet.

Tabs feature is much awaited feature by many customers, still no news related to this feature from Microsoft.
