Hi,
Please can someone help - this must be something simple. I have checked versioning is switched on my doc library in Sharepoint online.
I have a document (powerpoint deck) provided by 3rd party company and they keep sending updated versions.
I have the first version saved in my doc library. I have renamed their 2nd version to be the same file name as the one in my doc library and I have tried uploading it. I get a message saying 'a file with this name already exists. Would you like to replace the existing one?' - well no, not really... what i want to do is add it as a version to the original file.
What am i doing wrong?

@Juan Carlos González Martín Brilliant thanks - is there anyway of naming a version or retrospectively adding comments?

Is there any way to make this go automatic? (as in: not having to manually clicking the button to make a new version)
