I ran across an issue where a user is showing that they renamed and edited a file in SharePoint online. They said they never touched the file, but I see in the activity logs in Cloud App Activity log that they did touch the file.
Long story short I went into the users recent files in excel and the file is not there. I asked if they had opened it somehow from SharePoint or from a link that someone sent to them and they said no.
Has anyone ever run into this issue when a user didn't edit or rename a file, but version history is showing they did?
