Upload button in the document library not visible in Modern view

Hi,

I am using M365 E5 license. The upload button in the document library is not visible directly in Modern view of onedrive web . The image 1 shows the example where the upload button.  Image 2 is the classic view where the upload button is visible in the library.

Is there a way where I can bring the upload button to Modern view of Onedrive web/online?

you can use the button in the top left OR upload your files with drag-and-drop:

Thank you Dave for the screenshot (top left-Add new button) and alternate option(Drag and drop). Classic view's upload button is much understandable/convenient than these options. Let's see if Microsoft will bring back!
