Undo bulk tagging i SharePoint Online

A customer of us accidently marked all documents in a SharePoint Online library, and tagged them, when she was only supposed to mark one document, so now all her previous tags on the documents have been wrongly changed. Is there any way to undo this?

Manually through the quick edit or restore the document library to before the change which can be done from the cog when in the document library.

Thanks, we ended up restoring the library from yesterday, so that worked fine (good thing it was sunday yesterday so not many other changes had been made :)
