unable to create app catalog in communication site template

Hello Team,

Please help me as i am unable to create app catalog for communication site template. Is it possible to create SPO template "sitepublishing#0" but we are able to create team site. 

We would like to create for communication site template so please suggest us.

Hi,
I just tried creating an 'App Catalog' for one of my communication sites using PnP Powershell and it works fine. Can you please try using the PnP PowerShell command given below. Before trying the following commands please make sure you install the PnP PowerShell modules.
#Install-Module -Name Microsoft.Online.SharePoint.PowerShell

Connect-PnPOnline –Url https://<Tenantname>-admin.sharepoint.com
Add-PnPSiteCollectionAppCatalog -site 'communication site url'

We have tried to do so but its not working. Please suggest if there is other way to do so.
