I recently changed a task list with ~1900 items from the Classic Experience to the New Experience. Since the change, some views have to be refreshed to properly display items, but the bigger problem is that Search using the new top search box now seems to be broken.
When I type something in the box, it suggests related items directly below the search box Search suggestions under the top search box
After I hit enter, the main page area is blank and displays a message "Something went wrong Cannot read property 'split' of undefined" Search results error page
Searches like this always functioned correctly using the Classic view. Please advise.
