Teams SharePoint Site Folder Access Management

Hi all,

I'd like to ask the best practice for folder management in SharePoint Site for Teams.

My context is every time I create a channel in MS Teams, there is a SharePoint Site be automatically created and connected to that specific team. Then I continue to create folders and subfolders directly in Teams. However I can't find a solution to restrict the visibility of the folder to some specific Teams members (not the case that every member in the channel can see it).

I've tried advanced settings in SharePoint site that restrict Manage access to a certain user but still it doesn't work.

A separate SharePoint site gets created with each private and shared channel you create.

By default, everyone in the channel will have access to the SharePoint site.

Although you set custom permission on folder, any Team owner can bypass it as they are site collection admins.
