Tables in SharePoint pages Text app part

Iron Contributor

I had a call logged about a table that was not aligning the text to the top of the cells when added to a text app part in a modern SharePoint page.
It look like this is a missing feature of the Tables app part. How do I ask or suggest this as a feature to add now that "uservoice' isnt a thing? Cheers now

Ah! Yes, this is worth putting on the Feedback Portal: SharePoint · Community (microsoft.com)

At the moment, there's no option to change the vertical alignment of table content. You can only change the alignment of the whole table and the horizontal alignment of the paragraph.

The only workaround is to add blank lines to match with the other cell content which isn't great.

Thank you so much for quick response The only way I could fix the way the cells centred for the customer was to copy the table in to a word document to align all the cells to top .. copy back into the page and then format the table with the out of the box styles. but yep that was a bit of a faf! Thanks for response.
