Sync Events Webpart to Outlook Calendar

Is there a way to connect the Events Webpart in SharePoint to the Outlook calendar? 


Org wants people to start using Sharepoint more, and sharepoint events, but most people use the Outlook Calendar for meetings and such. Is there an automated way to connect the two, or is Microsoft's workaround of manually entering the details the only way as of now?

SharePoint Event Web Part still using Classic Calendar list so you can achieve it which you want.


Follow below steps to do so:


  • Go to Add an App page and click on Classic Experience



  • Now create list for Calendar Template





  • So here now SharePoint Calendar will be synced with Outlook calendar with 2-way sync
  • Now add Event Web Part to your page and connect it your Calendar list.
