Subsite Template issues.

We are using SharePoint online. We created the Team site and try to create the Communication site as a subsite. But that is not possible.

So how can we do this?

Hi @Jeyganesh,

I don't think you can. The sub-site creation screen only displays classic SharePoint templates.

Instead of a sub-site consider a separate site collection for the Communication site and tie them together using a Hub site.

You can only use the modern team site template (not tied to a Group) to create subsites in SPO using the user interface...check if you can use the communication site template to create subsites with PS...by the way, totally agree here with Norman: Just go to Hub Sites
