Starting ROW ID at a specific number?

Copper Contributor

Hey all,

I have a weird situation. I have a MS list that is created under my personal business account. It needs to be moved to a group account incase I get fired basically lol. So I created a template from the personal list and created the list in the group. My problem is i have flows that update/backup the data but it relies on the row ID to know if it has been modified. So question 1. Since I created a template from the existing List will the Row ID continue from where that list stopped? If not is there a way to start the row ID's at a specific number? Is it even possible to edit the Row ID?

Thank you everyone for the time.

@Charles665 the answer is unfortunately "no" to all your questions:

1) the first item in a new list will always start with an ID of 1;

2) it is not possible to start IDs at a specific number;

3) It is not possible to edit an ID number.
