SPD 2013 - Unable to modify an initiation form of an existing WF 2013

Copper Contributor

Hi,

We currently have an issue regarding the initiation forms of list workflow 2013.

We are able to reproduce it with very few steps :

  1. Create a new site from template Team Site (Classic)
  2. With SPD 2013, create a new list workflow 2013 :
    • Add a Comment action only, and Go to End of Workflow
    • Open the Initiation Form Parameters :
      • Add a field (type Text)
    • Publish
  3. Close SPD, then Open it
  4. Open the workflow you created : the content of the workflow is OK (action Comment present)
    • Add a second action Comment.
  5. Open the Initiation Form Parameters : the content of the Initiation Form is OK (one field)
    • Add a new field (type Text)
  6. Publish
  7. Close SPD, then Open it
  8. Open the workflow : the content of the workflow is OK (the new action is present)
  9. Open the Initiation Form Parameters : the content of the Initiation Form is not OK (the second field is missing)
  10. Open the local variables : the second field, added on #5, is listed in the local variables.

The publication of the workflow has succeeded, because the content of the workflow is updated. However, the Initiation Form has not been modified.

We tried this with several types of fields.

We tried to delete the fields in the initiation form.

We have this issue on two different tenants, on new workflow as well as old ones (on which we have done modifications in the Initiation Form several times without any issue in the past).

We have tested with three different accounts and computers.

Nothing seems to work : when we open again SPD, the Initiation Form has returned to its initial configuration.

The problem is not present on a Site Workflow 2010 (presumably because the initiation form isn't ASPX but XSN).

Any idea or suggestion would be welcome !
