I have an employee SP list that has employee name and their supervisor:
Employee Name Supervisor Name
Bob Smith Linda Watson
I have a Training SP list that also has Employee Name
Employee Name
Bob Smith
I wat to add a vlookup column to the Training SP list that will see the employee name and automatically pull over their supervisor that is listed in the employee SP list.
Looking in google, I thought this was possible but then I see you have to manually use a tagging feature to finish up the vlookup process. Is there a way to accomplish this without tagging? I want the lookup process to be fully automated.
On a related note, can Power Automate send an email and CC someone based on who the employee reports to that is listed in Active Directory? Our active directory lists who the employee reports to so if Power Automate can do that, then I don't need the lookup column.
