SP List Title Field

I have a SP list with thousands of records, two of the columns are;

 - Title (type is default field)

 - Number (type is number field)

I need my Number column to be the default column.

If necessary I can delete the current Title column as the contents aren't required.

How can I achieve this?

@jonboylib What do you mean by "I need my Number column to be the default column"?

Do you want this column clickable in list view OR you want ellipses (...) next to the number column in list view?
