SP List not showing text in a column

Hello,

I recently created an SP. Within the list, I created an index for a Student Name column (01.jpg) and re-indexed the list (02.jpg). But we still cannot find a student by their name using SP search box (03.jpg, 04.jpg).

Is there anything else I should have done?

it should also work without indexed columns. I have no index columns and the list search works find:

What type is your column?

hmm, it works fine and fast, created about a minute ago and my search can find it: 

Try to create a new column or search for another value.
