Something went wrong shown when filter people picker column in SharePoint List

Hi all, 

Anyone facing this issue, when filter a column, it prompt first screen below, once clicking retry button, it shows the exact listing.

Suspected permission issue, we tried to grant as site owner permission, then this issue wont happened. 

But the user should not grantted site owner permission. How to solve this??

That means you have some items with unique permissions.

Check the permissions on that list, you will find a notification at the top of the page of the items with unique permissions.
