Site usage

What constitutes a "Site visit" in the site usage page? Is it each time I go to a site? Is it for any page on the site? What if I just reload the page, is that a visit?

I have always interpreted Visits as being about all site visits regardless of which page or file it is about. It is every time you open the site in one way or another.

But if the user visits five different pages on the same site, is that five visits or one? Do the user need to visit another URL between each visit?
