Hello,

I am a Sharepoint Admin from Germany.

When I always rename pages, some people display the name of the page as "communication page". (see attachment)

 

So the correct renamed name does not show it at all.

Does anyone here know a solution for this?

With me e.g. the correct name is shown...

Hi @Marcel_Novanta, ich helfe mal auf Deutsch :) Als Admin weißt du sicher, dass Sites und Seiten (Pages) nicht dasselbe sind. Wenn Du eine "Site" benennst, bleibt sie weiterhin so, wie sie ist, auch wenn Du "Sites" nicht umbenennen kannst. Der Name bleibt in der URL ja immer gleich so eingehängt, wie ursprünglich von Dir erstellt. Du kannst eine Bibliothek auch nicht mehr umbenennen, wenn sie einmal in Deinem URL Pfad gelandet ist, Du kannst sie lediglich anders beschriften. Name ist im Code immer statisch, Caption (Beschriftung) kann geändert werden. Der Datenbank Hut. No big Deal. Noch ein Beispiel für Dich: Die Standard Dokumentbibliothek "Freigegebene Dokumente" bleibt nach Site-Erstellung ja auch immer gleich in der URL bestehen mit ".../shared%20documents/...", Du kannst sie natürlich nach Gutdünken auch umbenennen, aber sie wird immer in dem URL Pfad so heißen.

Die "Communication Site" stammt aus einer gleichnamigen Site Vorlagensammlung (website collection). Es gibt im modern SharePoint auch nur standardmäßig neben den Comm Sites auch noch Team Sites als Vorlagensammlung. Zweck der Comm Sites ist mehr die Team Communikation und weniger die ARbeit mit Dateien und Listen. In angehängten TEam Sites passiert die eigentliche Büroarbeit und Kollaboration. SharePoint ist immer Kommunikation UND Kollaboration. Ich habe mir angewöhnt, bei neuen FIimenprojekten zuerst als Hub Site eine Comm Site anzulegen, die gleichzeitig dann auch den Hub für weitere Taem Sites bildet. Mehr will ich hier gar nicht referieren. Wenn Du noch Fragen hast, über Hub Sites und dergleichen oder was anderes, schreib mir einfach zurück. Ich bin SharePoint Trainerin und Consultant. Leider möchte ich aber auf etwas anderes hinaus. Bei mir wird die selbe Seite mit dem richtigen Namen dargestellt. Bei anderen Mitarbeitern steht statt dem Sitenamen "Kommunikationsseite" dort. 

 

Erst habe ich gedacht es liegt am Cache des Browsers. Leider funktioniert es aber bei den Mitarbeitern in verschiedenen Browsern nicht. Es scheint einfach ein Bug zu sein...

 

Ich habe gedacht hier im Forum hat jemand eine Lösung zu diesem Problem. Ansonsten muss ich dann ein Microsoft Ticket erstellen schätze ich.

wir hatten oder haben ähnliche Probleme nach dem Ändern von Seitennamen und URLs. Der einzige Fix war, dass wir den Namen mit der SharePoint Online PowerShell mittels Set-SPOSite gesetzt haben.
