SharePoint User Profile Service breaking display name and email of FBA users

Dear all,

I'm using SharePoint 2016 server with external FBA users (sql server membership provider). Since the upgrade from SharePoint 2013 to 2016 I experience the issue that the user profile service is overwriting the displayname in the sharepoint profile with the users email address and cleaning the email adress field for FBA users. With SharePoint 2013 everything worked fine. Unfortunatly I'm unable to disable user profile service since I need the mysite feature. Anyone any ideas how to stop the user profil service overwriting display name and email fields for FBA users with SharePoint 2016?

Unfortunatly not. We finally disabled all User Profile Service Timer jobs.... Tobias
