So I am creating a list to support with tracking purposes on items we work on. However there is ONE field required that is causing massive headaches for me. That field is our "supplier" field which ideally we would like to have this value controlled rather than entered in manually. This being said there are 10,000+ values that the supplier name could be, as we support our company globally, not just regionally. I found a work around for list view, by doing index columns and custom default views to only show open status items, vs all records. That is fixed, the issue I am having now is adding new items. If you are not adding it in the "excel grid view" and doing it through the new item button in SharePoint or teams platform, it does not want to load. I'm assuming it's due to the drop down values being stored in the choice field for vendor name. Is there a workaround for adding a new record with large lists of data choices to a field?
