We have a Sharepoint site visible to the enterprise (view the Visitors group)
The site does not appear in Site contents (/_layouts/15/viewlsts.aspx?view=15), but is totally accessible to any user who knows the URL.
The site is not visible in the Site Manager (/_layouts/15/sitemanager.aspx).
The sites contents for the apps works fine (/_layouts/15/viewlsts.aspx?view=14).
Is there a setting via PowerShell or some other mechanism to hide/show the site?

Hello @Steve_Feldman
yu can see a SharePoint Site (= SiteCollection) only in the admin center or with direct access to the site. A site is not listed on the site itself.
Best, Dave

@Steve_Feldman can you explain what do you mean by The site does not appear in Site contents (/_layouts/15/viewlsts.aspx?view=15)?
SharePoint site contents page only shows the list/libraries or any custom applications you have inside your SharePoint site.
Are you using subsites in your site collection and trying to see the subsites from site contents page of site (site collection)?
Also, you can add link to your SharePoint site in site navigation links for easy access.
