I am working on a modern SharePoint team site. I wanted to hide or remove recycle bin on the site home page left navigation. To do so I read an online article that states activating the SharePoint server publishing feature helps to get the desired result. I activated the feature and was able to remove the recycle bin from the left navigation but the activated feature created another mess in my site. It created hundreds of folders in the style library. I deactivated the feature and the recycle bin back to the navigation but I can't delete the folders. I created a ticket for MS and learned that it's common problem they are trying to fix. Is there anyone who encountered the same problem? is there any other way to hide or delete recycle bin from the left navigation? snapshot of some of the folders
